soundAMP R’s audio processor helps you hear better while conversing in small groups, watching TV, or attending lectures or concerts. Faint sounds around you are amplified, while loud sounds are softened as they reach your earbuds, in real time. The recording feature provides a great way to capture lectures, presentations, interviews, or even important information relayed at a doctor’s appointment.

Listen Live Anytime from Here. This is the primary screen for live listening. Close sounds are picked up by the microphone, processed by soundAMP, and sent to earbuds in realtime. As the over-sized volume button is slid up, the sound level increases.

• Controls include volume, record, instant replay, tune & zoom.
• Navigation buttons on bottom include library, settings, info & help.
• Level meter (near top)
• When headphones are used, the interface flips so the built-in mic can be pointed towards the sound source

Listen live and Record
at the Same Time This is the primary screen for live listening, with recording “on”. Listen to and record close sounds at the same time.

• The new bookmark button appears. When you hear a key point, apply a mark to the recording simply by tapping the bookmark button.
• Tap & hold the bookmark for 2 seconds and name the bookmark for later use.
• Bookmarks can be viewed and edited during playback.

• Recording name, date, time, length in hours, minutes & seconds, and size in megabytes.
• To play a recording, tap the carrot button on the right.
• Recordings can be deleted from this screen by tapping the edit button.

Playback & Share Recordings Playback recordings on this screen. Quickly advance through the recording using the new bookmark buttons.

• Sound waveform and scrubbable playhead. White lines on the waveform are bookmarks.
• Buttons include play, pause, previous and next bookmark, and add/delete bookmark. Other buttons include rename the recording, adjust tuning and zooming levels.
• Each recording can be shared via wifi for longer recordings or email for shorter recordings.
• When a recording is moved to a computer, it can be imported to iTunes. Bookmarks are retained and viewed as Chapters in iTunes.
